3 Spectacular New Year's Eve Fireworks in Madeira 🍾🥂

Madeira Carnival – February 26th to March 9th, 2025 (Solidarity Parade 28th, Main Parade March 1st and Fun Parade March 4th)  One of the biggest street parties in Europe, Madeira’s Carnival, The festivities begin on Saturday with an elaborate parade through Funchal featuring the island’s best samba bands and troupes dancing through the streets in dazzling costumes. The party continues throughout the weekend and concludes on Shrove Tuesday with the fantastic Trapalhão parade – when the streets are full of locals in outlandish costumes. The music is contagious… put on your dancing shoes and join the party!

Festa da Flor - 1st May to 25 May With the arrival of spring, the city of Funchal is transformed into a floral stage full of enchantment with the Flower Festival in Madeira. Thist magical event begins on Saturday morning with the Children's Parade, in which hundreds of children, dressed appropriately, parade to Praça do Município to create a beautiful mural of flowers, symbolically called the "Wall of Hope".On Sunday afternoon, the streets of Funchal downtown are once again invaded by music, colour and soft perfumes with a sumptuous parade of floats, which harmoniously combine multiple floral species with decorations full of creativity.🌟

The Madeira Wine Rally - 1st August to 3rd August attracts thousands of enthusiasts to the island’s roads since 1959. Year after year, this international rally competition has been able to maintain its quality bringing in renowned drivers from all over the world. The competition links the motor world sport to the outstanding landscapes of each stage. After more than 60 editions, it is still one of the most charismatic races of the Europeans rally circuits. 🌟

Porto Santo island dominated by a beautiful golden sand beach with 9km of golden sand beach . Atlantic Festival - 31 May to 23 June, a sense of liveliness joins forces with tradition to transform the Madeiran capital into an attractive and fun-filled venue where visitors are offered a series of unforgettable concerts and shows. The Atlantic Festival, is a cultural and fun-packed event, consisting of three components: music, fireworks and street performances. Every Saturday night, there are concerts, combined with fireworks, these provide unique moments in which the splendour of the firework display blends harmoniously with the music to provide unique moments of happiness and colour.🎆

The true Christmas traditions in Madeira are showcased in different locations throughout the island on different dates, between December 9th to 23rd. The most well-known is the market night at the Farmers' Market in Funchal on the 23rd of December and it stays open until 3am with entertainment for all the thousands of visitors. 🌟
